$5 Album Round-up – February
I was going thru Amazon MP3 today, like any other day and saw a few really good albums listed for five bucks. Thought I would share them with you. I tried to run thru as many as I could and choose what I thought were some must-haves, nice-to-haves and the albums with the best cover art. Everything is listed below, hope you can find at least one thing you might enjoy.
Must-haves
- Uzi Does It – Get Busy Committee : If you like Apathy or Styles of Beyond, you may be interested in this album.
- Contra – Vampire Weekend : A solid sophomore release. It truly gets better each time you listen to it.
- La-La Means I Love You – The Delfonics : An oldie, mellow, old-school boy band I guess.
- The Ecstatic – Mos Def : No explanation needed really, it’s Mos Def.
- Psychic Chasms – Neon Indian : If you want to check out something different, slightly 80’s, this is it.
- Blakroc – Blakroc : If you like Mos Def, Wu-Tang, Pharoahe Monch, etc; You will enjoy this album
- 45 Live – Peanut Butter Wolf : One of my favorite producers/dee-jays releases a 45 minute, 45 only mix.
- Love – Johnny Cash : Again do I really need to explain?
- The Colossus – RJD2 : Another fantastic hip-hop producer
Nice-to-haves
- Black Holes and Revelations – Muse
- Astro Coast – Surfer Blood
- The Muslims – The Soft Pack
- Of June – Owl City
- City Lights Volume Two, Shibuya – Nicolay

There is a short little rundown of some of the 100 albums Amazon has for sale at 5 bucks a piece. I am going to try to do this regularly and have a little bit cleaner layout for this page. I was just really short on time and wanted to get this posted. Thanks for reading and I hope you can find something you enjoy in the lists above.

P.S. I love Owl City and I believe the night of the 1/2 marathon (April 25th) he/they will be @ the Electric Factory for all of 18$ and I just don’t know if I will be up to it.
They sounded really good. I was listening to the samples, I haven’t really listened to them a whole lot but it was mellow and relaxing. Something I need more of
I’d definitely love to see this as a regular feature on your site. It might cost me money, but at least it’s only $5 each
Great, I want to make a better template all-around but also just for this type of thing, like once a month.
